Very little is known about this group. Marv Goldberg interviewed Bernie Mackey in 1976 and he remembered that Charlie ran a shoeshine stand across from the Stutz Bearcat automobile factory. They all sang and played guitar for the workers. [Goldberg, More Than Words Can Say, 1998, p. 5] A sketch of the Stutz factory in Indianapolis is shown above.
